Thank you for choosing New York Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery of Manhattan to help meet your Dermatology,Cosmetic Dermatology, Non-Surgical Rejuvenation, Hair Loss and Hair Restoration and Skincare needs. We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you as a new patient and to give you information regarding your upcoming appointment.


As you enter the waiting room you will find current magazines, a warm and inviting reception staff, and  artwork for  your enjoyment.

On your appointment day, we ask that you please arrive a few minutes early to complete our new patient paperwork. 


Please be sure you bring a copy of your pertinent information, and a list of medications you are currently taking.


Dr. Rothfeld is dedicated to providing the highest level of care to each of his patients. Dr. Gary is considered one of the preeminent authorities in the world on the subject of facial rejuvenation.


For this reason, you may experience a wait-time on your appointment day. We offer an abundance of reading materials, music,  and an informational dermatologic pamphlets in our reception area. You may also wish to bring a book. If you have a time-sensitive schedule, please be sure to call ahead to check the daily clinic scheduling flow.

We are committed to provide these services to the people of New York.  We provide dermatological care for a variety of skin diseases that range from common conditions to those that may be rare and life threatening. 


You will be evaluated by Dr. Gary.  Dr Rothfeld is considered as one of the Best Doctors in America.   Renowned expert in melanoma, other skin cancers, psoriasis, pediatric dermatology, lupus, autoimmune blistering diseases and cosmetic facial rejuvenation.

 We provide dermatological care during your visit to our office and after office hours as well.  We have Dermatology coverage in the evenings and on weekends.  We are a dermatology service, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week including Saturday and Sunday.  Although emergencies in dermatology are unusual, we are here to assist you if they occur.

Cancellation Policy


We understand that sometimes it is necessary to re-schedule appointments. We ask that you give at least 48 hours notice prior to canceling and we will gladly reschedule your appointment. In the event that you are unable to give sufficient notice, a cancellation fee will be charged for the full amount of your appointment.   We regret any inconvenience this may cause.  Appointments are in high demand, and your early cancellation will give another person the possibility to have access to schedule an earlier appointment.


Appointment for a minor


We ask that all patients that are minors bring a parent or legal guardian with them when they come in for their first doctor’s appointment. If the parent or legal guardian would like the minor to be seen unattended for any additional appointments, we have a consent form that the parent or legal guardian can sign.
