The Procedure
Areas identified for correction are marked and prepped in sterile fashion. Calcium hydroxylapatite filler (Radiesse) or Juvederm is injected through the skin in the submuscular or subcutaneous plane. The filler is delivered with a fine threading technique at multiple insertion sites along the nasion, rhinion, supratip, ala, and tip, depending on the desired area of correction. Immediately after injection, pressure is applied and the material is molded to the desired effect.
